HARBURN
BY WEST CALDER
N.B.
31st Dec - 1920
I have pleasure in stating that John Cameron has been in my service as gamekeeper for nearly 9 years, during which time I have found him a capable keeper, also a man willing to do anything that is wanted of him.
He is leaving my employment as I require the cottage for an estate labourer owing to house shortage.

I have pleasure in certifying that John Cameron was Groom here for the last sixteen months. He proved himself to be a sober, active, honest servant. He drives well, and kept the harness and himself tidy, and I can recommend him to anyone requiring a good servant.
